Todd wrote in November that the Bywater wine bar was "enticing," hitting a spot between "sophisticated and rakishly scruffy."

Why Todd will be heading back: Saint-Germain opened as a wine bar with a short menu of accomplished snacks from chefs Trey Smith and Blake Aguillard. On Dec. 6, the pair added a small bistro modeled on the casual spots now in vogue in Paris.
